Postpartum doula care at home.
Daytime and overnight care for families in New York City, Hoboken, and Jersey City.
My approach
You are not hiring me just to take care of the baby. I am there to care for you while you recover. I can hold the baby while you sleep, make you something to eat, wash bottles, or listen while you talk through a hard night.
I can also show you a hold, talk you through a feed, or try a different way to soothe. The point is not to become someone you cannot do without. It is to help you build skills and confidence that stay after I leave.
What do you need today?
You need to sleep. I can take care of your baby while you lie down, shower, or eat without listening for the next cry.
You want to do it together. We can work through a feed or bath together, or try different ways to soothe a baby who will not settle. Ask questions as they come up.
The house is piling up. I can make a simple meal, wash bottles, do the baby laundry, tidy up, and put supplies back where you need them.
You need the night covered. I stay with your baby overnight and handle diapering, burping, soothing, and settling between feeds.

I’m Amanda.
CAPPA Certified Postpartum Doula
I live in Brooklyn with my family: two teenage stepchildren, my baby daughter, and two dogs.
I know how hard it can be to heal while getting to know your baby. My job is to notice the parent, not only the baby, and take things off your plate while you recover.
